PSASA Tentative Agreement (2013-2016)
Highlights
Increased Compensation —
Once the contract is ratified, members will receive a 2% stipend based on their current salary.
All PSASA salary scales will be increased by 2% for SY 2014-2015 and then by another 1% for SY 2015-2016. Members will receive these raises, in addition to any movement on intervals.
Advancement Opportunities —
Criteria has been set for Principals to move into the Transformational Pathway effective July 1, 2014. In addition to the first group which was designated this spring, a second group will be designated by the fall (and their compensation will be increased retroactively to July 1, 2014).
Criteria will be set for Principals to move into the Distinguished Pathway by January 31, 2015, to be effective as of July 1, 2015.
Criteria will be set for Central Office Administrators to move into the Distinguished Pathway by December 1, 2014 (and their compensation will be increased retroactively to July 1, 2014).
Executive Directors and Supervisors who observe and evaluate PSASA members will receive training on the performance improvement process and evaluation criteria and instruments to help assure that evaluations are effective, fair, objective, and consistent.
Members will have the opportunity to participate in a Sick Leave Bank.
